The season after
the Holidays is a quieter time for most of us. But residents of the Home have
been pretty busy. Here are some of the things that have been going on here
since Christmas.
Residents of Special Care had a fun “arts and crafts” day sponsored by
the Bedford Hospice. Hospice workers provided all materials and
assisted the residents in decorating and finishing photo frames for
their rooms.
Bob is shown here with his frame in progress
Barbara and Ruth had fun decorating
their photo frames.
Our friend, Bill Marshall, was here to do another
pool exhibition for the residents. This is a fun time that
brings out a good crowd
An historic tour of Lynchburg was a fascinating
trip. A couple of the sights visited were the old Quaker church
and one of the oldest brick homes in the city. Residents are
shown here as they leave the Lynchburg Chamber of Commerce and
Information Center.
