OUR CHAMPION! 

Bill Kesler has become somewhat of a celebrity at the Home as a result of his bowling skills – he says “luck”.  During a recent outing with other residents to a bowling alley in nearby Lynchburg, Bill made seven strikes in one game – five of them in a row.  This feat earned him a photo and article in the local newspaper.  A few years ago he made a hole-in-one on the Home’s golf course.  Who knows what he will accomplish next.  He is only 98!

CORRECTION

 In the last issue of our newsletter, we had a photo and caption about Thesauruses donated to Bedford Middle School students.  The caption should have stated that the Thesauruses were donated through the generosity of the Ticonderoga, New York, Lodge No. 1494.  Thank you, Ticonderoga Elks, for sponsoring this project!
