As always, we send our thanks to all the lodges and individuals throughout the Order who have contributed to the Home. We sincerely appreciate your support. Your donations make it possible for us to provide activities and entertainment for the residents, and help to maintain the Home's buildings and equipment. In addition to activities, some projects that were recently financed totally or partially from donated funds were new or replacement equipment for our medical department, special tub and patient lifts for Special Care, new chair cushions and table covers for the recreation room.

The Elks National Home
What Can You Do For Your Fellow Elks?
The Elks National Home is a wonderful benefit of membership in the Order of Elks. Over the years, we have provided happiness and security for thousands of Elk members from all over the United States. There are currently 114 residents who enjoy the beauty, active lifestyle, camaraderie, and caring atmosphere of our retirement community.
Maintaining and improving this valuable asset of Elkdom requires the financial support of the Order. The Elks National Foundation and the Grand Lodge subsidized the operation of the Home for more than one hundred years. Since that support has now been discontinued, we need financial assistance from individual members and lodges to guarantee that we can offer the best services to Elk members far into the future. The $1.00 membership assessment will provide funds to assist with the operating budget. However, we are also in need of repairs, renovations and improvements to the buildings.
Your gifts will help to maintain and improve the buildings, provide supplies and equipment for those in our care section, provide activities and entertainment for all the residents, and much more. Please consider the Elks National Home when you plan your charitable giving. Checks can be mailed directly to the Elks National Home, 931 Ashland Avenue, Bedford, VA 24523. You may also consider remembering the Home in your will. Bequests have provided many improvements and additions in the past.
Remember, your gifts to the Home are tax deductible, since we are a 501(c)3 non profit organization.
This retirement community could be home for you or one of your loved ones in the
future. Please help us to assure it will be there for you – and many others. For
