Incomplete forms will delay processing and approval of your application.
Here are excerpts from a beautiful testimonial from a resident who chose the traditional residential program at the Home.  He has become a very active resident, taking part in many activities and volunteer projects:

"There's an old saying, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder."  That saying is most applicable to myself here at the Elks National Home.  When I go out our back door, I'm caught by all the magnetic attraction of brotherly love.  Gazing over our 180 acres, and listening to a freight train in the distance -- it's then that inner peace sets in.

In the rear of the Home is a recessed bowl-shaped garden.  Throughout the garden are curved brick steps and walkways, having flowers and blooming shrubs as the border.  Overlooking this picturesque setting are giant shade trees.  This is a real retreat from the outside hustle and bustle.  Out beyond our acreage within eyesight are many mountain tops.

I don't know what this place is really like in the Fall, Winter and Spring, but I can visualize its beauty, as there are dogwoods, flowering crabapples, and numerous variety of other trees, shrubs and vines scattered throughout these hills and valleys.  I am most appreciative for the opportunity to enjoy this novel style of living."
