We welcome all visitors, whether you come just to eat a meal or wish to have a tour of our facility. We are more than happy to have Elk members stay with us for a few days to experience the beautiful atmosphere. Any Elk in good standing may visit the Home for up to five days in any one month for a charge of only $50.00 per day plus tax. The charge for double occupancy is $65.00 a night plus tax. This includes your room and meals. Please be aware that our guest rooms do not have cable TV. There is a TV room where you can watch if you desire, and of course, there are lots of areas at the Home to enjoy, such as the library, pool tables, golf course, exercise room, walking on the grounds, etc. There are also interesting things to see in the city of Bedford and nearby area, such as the D-Day Memorial, the Bedford Museum, various antique and gift shops, Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, and the Peaks of Otter. You may pay by cash or check. At this time we are not equipped to accept credit cards. It is recommended that anyone considering becoming a resident visit with us. Overnight visits must be arranged in advance through the marketing office. To schedule a visit with us, please call 1-800-552-4140 during regular business hours or email us at enhome@elkshome.org

Please note: There is a dress code for meals, for both residents and visitors. Casual dress is appropriate for breakfast and lunch. Casual dress includes, but is not limited to, walking shorts and golf shirts. T-shirts, sweat suits, tank top shirts, or pajamas and slippers are not acceptable. For dinner, dress as you would for dining out. Acceptable attire could include dresses, skirts, slacks, cardigan sweaters for ladies. Turtlenecks, shirts with collars, and neatly pressed slacks would be in good taste for gentlemen. Coats and ties are optional but not mandatory.

To schedule a tour or overnight stay, call us at 1-800-552-4140 or e-mail us at enhome@elkshome.org. Thank You.
